I started taking an interest in photography in my primary school days but drifted off to other engagements as life got too busy. Encouraged by my ophthalmologist to pick up the camera again as an incentive to work on preserving my vision, I developed an enduring passion for the art. I am indebted to him for seeing afresh beauty in the ordinary and, through the lens of others, the extraordinary. I aim at slow but steady improvement to capture the beauty and moods around us and to render more enduring what is transient. I thank you for taking the time to visit, comment and support which helps me improve. That is truly appreciated.

While I seldom intentionally take pictures of human beings and post them on Flickr, I do shoot street and park scenes, landscape and special events, particularly those in Toronto. If you chance to be in these pictures and would rather not appear in them, please let me know and I will remove the photos immediately. Also while I appreciate invitations to post my photos in groups, please don't invite me if giving awards and favs is an obligation that extends to non-members or if photos in the group cannot be seen by non-members.
