Since moving into an apartment with a balcony and discovering that Hummingbirds are around I was immediately in awe and ready for the challenge of photographing these magical and speedy birds. I don;t have a huge zoom lens so I've worked on having them trust me, one thrill is that I am hand feeding them now, this is so exciting for me since I only have about 4 or 5 Hummingbirds visit each year, currently I have one, M.G. who guards the balcony but 2, Elora and Luci sneak in when she isn't around.
