Bridge Meadows - headquartered in Portland, OR - creates and inspires intergenerational communities to enrich the well-being of children impacted by foster care, their parents/caregivers, and older adults searching for renewed meaning and purpose. At Bridge Meadows, we combine high-quality affordable housing, wraparound therapeutic services, and a strong network of intergenerational support to promote the long-term health and well-being of children, families, and elders. Founded in 2005 and welcoming our first residents to our inaugural site in 2011, Bridge Meadows remains the only intentional, intergenerational housing community of its kind in the region and was the first in an urban setting in the country. Today, we operate three intergenerational communities across the state of Oregon (North Portland, Beaverton, and Redmond), serving over 230 children, parents, and elders. In 2026, we began construction on a new community in Tacoma, WA, scheduled to open in 2027.
