I'm a perpetual "student of all things," and I therefore will never call myself a "professional photographer."

I spent a considerable amount of time homeless, living from woodland to woodland through all four seasons, and as such have developed a profound respect for the outdoor world. Consequently, you will find that most of my photographs (particularly those not taken on behalf of a client) are of animals, insects, and nature in general.

I run an online media collaborative, producing videos and articles focusing on outdoor education (from camping and hiking, to outdoor sports such as jetskiing, mountain climbing and so on). My "general photographs" are quite often used to provide a touch of colour to areas of text devoid of illustration, and I also take most of the illustrative photographs detailing processes and techniques.
