THIS, TOO, CAN BE YOURS ...They said it was faster, cheaper and better construction than stick-built. They said it was inspected at least 5 times at the factory. They said we would probably be in it in less than 100 days. This home was set over 3 years ago and we will never be able to live in. It will be demolished because it is unsafe, unfixable and completely out of compliance with Building Code from the top to the bottom. The house has had water infiltration, cracks in all the walls and ceilings, was missing hundreds of items on delivery--windows doors, tiles, electrical equipment, much more--and is still not complete, is at risk for mold, has catastrophic structural issues that could result in collapse, is loaded with highly flammable adhesives, and by every indication was built in part from old, re-purposed, rotting materials, amongst other outrageous defects.
