Ivor Josephson, a Manchester based amateur photographer, is using this as a place to share his pictures. No particular theme, just anything unfortunate enough to pass before my lens.

I'm using either a Nikon D7200 or a Fuji X-T1 to take most of my pictures. I also now have a D750 which will eventually demote the D7200.

UPDATE: While the D750 excels at low light shots, the D7200 is way better for sharpness because its not crippled by a low pass filter and I have the 17-55 f/2.8 DX for it. Consequently, there is a place for both in my armoury.

And the Fuji ? That's all about the X-Trans sensor and the straight out of camera .jpgs.

I have added a Panasonic LX100 to my kit. With its Micro Four Thirds sensor and Leica lens it produces amazing results with a fraction of the weight. It is vastly better than any camera phone I would care to own.
