I am 70 years old and retired. I started digital photography in 2017, and I am a complete beginner. I wasn't really interested in photography before, but now I have discovered digital photography I find it a very interesting hobby.

I use open source software as my computer operating system is Linux. I use Darktable to edit RAW files and when converted to jpeg, png files etc. I will use Gimp sometimes, if I want to do more editing on an image.

Overall, there is always something new to learn, which adds to the fascination and fun of my new found hobby.
