I got a puppy! He is a German Shepherd/Whippet cross. I finished raising my third guide dog puppy for GDB, and decided it was about time I got my own dog. I hope to return to puppy raising soon! Check out GDB's account at Guide Dogs for the Blind, there are lots of photos of cute puppies! My first guide dog puppy was Serena, a female yellow Labrador. She graduated as a guide dog in 2018. My second puppy, Poppins, was a female black Labrador. She was career changed, and is now living happily as a pet.
