I have always had the interest for photography, but was always too busy to jump into the mix. A wonderful neighbor - professional photographer no doubt - was showing me some of his photos and his wonderful trips and I finally decided that I'd waited long enough. Have no Idea why I had to wait to 66 years to start discovering my passion for capturing images of the planet. Well, finally in Sept of 2017 I broke down and purchased my first real DSLR Camera and some better than kit lenses. I decided on the Canon 77D, with a Canon 24-105 L series lens, a 75-200 Canon L series lens and a Rokinon 16mm EFS lens. It was only 2 months after I obtained my equipment that I set off for a week long camping trip to southern Utah - Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Gobblin Valley State Park, San Raphael Reef and the Wash Overlook of the Little Grand Canyon, Buckhorn Canyon and 9 Mile Canyon. I've posted some of my photos here. I also have another account here under jayluberpensions. I sincerely look forward to this new adventure in my life and and the joy of sharing my vision and view of the world with anyone with the interest to take a look.
