NCP is a blog about film photography.

In my personal opinion film photography has a kind of pure soul, but when we share a photograph, printed in the darkroom or on the internet, we decide to make some cuts to eliminate what we consider unnecessary, with the consequence of going to lose some of that purity.

The idea of sharing the whole image impressed on the negative, forces us to be more careful during shooting taking better care of the composition and immediately eliminating what we consider useless, and it will also be easier to print our photograph in the darkroom.

I also believe it is useful to observe the entire shot when you share it, so you can understand how each of us framing the scene…it’s like being with the photographer at the time of shooting!

So, that’s all! Nothing too philosophical or complex.
