Research

At MTM we develop and study new materials and processes to shape these materials. Changing the microstructure of a material allows developing materials with new characteristics, which leads to new applications.

Education

MTM provides a solid metallurgical and materials background to future materials engineers. The department offers a bachelor and master of Engineering Sciences: Materials engineering and an international master of Materials Engineering.
