My name is Nathan. Devoted explorer, Bona fide science nerd, and lover of the natural world.

I was born in raised in the mountains of Western Maryland. I currently reside in a 46,000 acre state forest in Allegany County, MD. Photography is my passion. I enjoy exploring caves, waterfalls and mountain tops, always looking for the perfect shot.

So many people never get to see the beautiful aspects of nature, as they believe it will cost them thousands of dollars to fly around and view it all. That why I take so many photos of my homeland. There's beautiful places right out of your door! Waterfalls, mountains, caves, clear night skies, beautiful forests; you name it, Maryland has it!

Another major reason I do photography is because Maryland has a big problem. Environmental Destruction. Our forests are being stripped away before our eyes. Mines are around every corner and are a growing problem. The more these beautiful places are documented, the more people will be willing to protect them.
