Seduced by the perspective and aesthetic organization of the landscapes that surround us, photographer Christopher Macquet aims to show his audience an everlasting vision of physical space. A different reality: not replacing actuality, but sublimating it.

Photography and art in general have allowed Christopher Maquet to render the sketches that follow him in his dreams - a powerful source of inspiration - into physical images. From amongst his latest works, the series that stands out is Paradoxe temporel, a compilation of images wherein long-exposure and black and white photographic techniques are combined. The series emphasizes the geometric aspects of both natural and urban spaces, seeking balance between line and volume, shadow and light. Macquet’s work is currently focused on street photography, perpetuated by a minimalistic vision that has been present since the beginning of his artistic career.
