Engineer who builds and repairs mechanical and electrical things out in the stix for a living. I also collect old TVs and radios and allsorts of electrical equipment from the past. I have a vintage car. I love old cars, trucks and buses, old buildings, product packaging, old appliances and tech, and lots more. I am humbled and impressed by engineers who pioneered reliable and useful products from a time before computers and electronics, and which did the same job as stuff today that has chips and computers built in. Some people tell me its a mistake to look backwards, but I say we can learn alot from it for the future.
