Retired from a career in coal mining,as a mine surveyor and experienced coal miner.

Born in Greymouth. Grew up in Dobson ,on the West coast of the South Island NZ.

Worked in the Dobson, Strongman and Rewanui mines, as well as most of the other smaller pits.

Moved to the Huntly coal mines in 1972. Still here.

Presented with a cannon SLR 600 D camera for a retirement activity.
