British Ex Pat living in Spain (Manilva, Costa Del Sol). A life long lover of photography that started when I was a young soldier in the British Army. I bought my first camera (Zenith E) from a pawn shop in Chatham for 20 quid back in 1980, and took it everywhere with me, which would include just walking down the street on a Saturday afternoon or battened down in a tank while driving in the burning oil fields of Kuwait in 1991. Unfortunately I never recorded much of my Army days as more often than not I needed to have my rifle in my hands and not my camera which is a shame. Those days did teach me to keep my eyes very wide open (for self preservation sake) and this has been taken into my photography eye where I think I pick up more than the average guy walking down the street. I will shoot anything except still life (a bowl of fruit is a bowl of fruit ). Love to photograph movement and people and constantly aiming to improve both my processing skills and imagination to produce something that is not "run of the mill" .
