I am an amateur bird watcher and a lover of nature, living in Bendigo Victoria Australia. I still have much to learn about birds. My husband who has always been interested in and is a good amateur photographer gave me a camera a couple of years ago, so now instead of just ticking off birds I have seen in a bird book, I am trying to get all of the birds I see photographed. It has opened up a whole new level of complexity to bird watching, have you really seen the bird if you haven't seen it as a male and female, chick or immature, in breeding colours and non breeding colours, and up to 12 ish different sub-species.

The very large majority of my photos are of wild and free animals, if not I will say so.

If you find a mistake in anything I've posted or can offer constructive criticism, please let me know. I much prefer to be corrected than be incorrect. Thank you for your views and comments.
