Der Bild- und Textautor dieser Seite ist Jahrgang 1971 und lebt in Potsdam (Deutschland).

Mitte der 80er Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts flammte sein Interesse für die Straßenbahn-

und O-Busbetriebe der ehemaligen DDR auf. Seit 1990 dokumentiert er die Entwicklung und

Veränderungen im Wagenpark der ehemaligen DDR-Straßenbahnbetriebe auch fotografisch.

Dadurch war es ihm möglich, noch das Ende der Gothawagen-Epoche und das Nachwende

Tatra-Zeitalter, fotografisch zu dokumentieren.

Seine Bilder entstanden bis zum Jahr 2009 als Dia-Positive, welche mit der EXA 1b (1990),

Praktica BX20s (1991-1997) und Nikon F50 (1997-2009) entstanden. Im Jahr 2009 erfolgte der

Umstieg in die digitale Fotografie. Zum Einsatz gelangten nun die Nikon D60 (2009-2013),

Nikon D3200 (2013-2018) und D610 (seit 2018).

Und immer war seine Maxime, Festbrennweite 50mm und gezoomt wird mit den Beinen.

The picture and text author of this page was born in 1971 and lives in Potsdam (Germany).

In the mid-1980s his interest in trams flared and trolleybus operations of the former GDR.

Since 1990 he has been documenting the development and Photographic changes in the

rolling stock of the former GDR tram companies.

This made it possible for him to mark the end of the Gothawagen epoch and the aftermath

Tatra era to be documented photographically.

Up until 2009 his pictures were taken as slide positives, which were taken with the EXA 1b (1990),

Praktica BX20s (1991-1997) and Nikon F50 (1997-2009) emerged.
