I have been taking photos for years just because I love it. My interests run to plants, Hummingbirds, butterflies, bugs, animals, pets, and quilting. In other words all the Beauty of nature with all it's patterns and colors.

Years ago I started with a Pentax k1000SLR, then a Minolta and a few lenses. My first compact digital gave me many fun photo hours. In fall 2007 I finally got a Canon SLR digital and now have 2 lenses to play with. Having lots of fun so far but still lots to learn.

I have been loving all the beautiful things on Flickr since joining in Fall 2007. My friend David Kha introduced me to flickr after I started as a volunteer at the Tucson Botanical Garden's Butterfly Magic Exhibit. Before that I had numerous photo ops while working in a Garden Nursery Shop here in Tucson.

I want to thank all of my friends and contacts for their comments and support. Sorry that I can not spend more time visiting all of you but I will come by as often as I am able.
