Hey I'm Wenli

I am 23 years old, I'm from Mallorca (Spain).

Currently I am back to college to study a Foundation Diploma in Arts & Design in Bournemouth (UK).

My aim of moving to England was to improve my english which I feel quite happy and proud of my unfolding during these almost two years I have been living here.

I've spent about four years asking what to do with my life, what was my purpose in life so because painting is my passion and I found this course I decided to stay longer and give a go to the opportunity of know myself better.

I realised I love painting about six years ago when one day my cousin showed me briefly how to use watercolour, from that day an on I started painting guiding through other artist like Agnes Cecile or Paula Bonet.

I felt that I wasn't quite good enough or I didn't have that potential to be an artist. However being accepted in College helped me to trust myself and it will give me the confidence that I was looking for before when I self-taugh. Watercolouring also help me to relax when I have anxiety, It is my way to stay in a better place.

My goals this year are improve and develop my skills as an artist, learn new techniques in order to transmit emotions that I want to express through my work. Despite is a hard process I can tell that I am looking forward to get self-reliant when I have a blank paper in front of me.

Apart from painting I am passionating by music I started playing the piano a year ago, I am keen on learning languages and practise yoga.
