I had a keen interest in birds from a young age, encouraged by my father who was all about the natural world. I illustrated birds as a hobby and bird watched up until my mid teens. I have only recently taken up photography being introduced to it a few years ago by a friend who uses Nikon equipment. I am now officially hooked and I am out and about whenever I get the chance. Thanks to the people I have met over the past year or so I am steadily improving my skills, you know who you are.
