Friends always complimented me on having a photographers eye, so I took a chance and bought my first DLSR in mid-2011. In an on and off fashion I've been trying to acquire the technical skills ever since.

I'm finding it the perfect hobby. It has opened my eyes to what's going on around me, and inspired me to get out more and explore. I'm sure that's a familiar refrain from others who have been bitten by the bug. Looking forward to continuing to grow my skills and seeing things differently for years to come.

I started with the Nikon D7000, moved to the D600; and have since moved to Fuji. I started with the X100S and added the X-T1, T2, and now the T-5. I was going to sell the X100S when I bought the X-T1, but I haven't been able to let it go. It’s just too beautiful a piece of kit.
