I started photographing at about the age of eight when my father bought me a Kodak 35 mm Retina. I turned a part of our basement into a darkroom. But, I did not take photography seriously as a hobby until I retired and took some adult education courses.

I was born in NYC, educated at NYU in Economics and graduate studies in University Administration and Anthropology.

Returned home to Israel, after a temporary absence of 2000 years, prior to the Yom Kippur War of 1973.
