I became interested in photography in mid 2007 when my wife and I travelled overseas for five weeks. I purchased a Canon 400D and kit lenses. After the holiday I became interested in Bird photography in 2008, and over the years this changed to all the things you see when the birds don't show up. Of late I have been particularly interested in Dragonflies which are such marvellous aeronauts and hunters and such a challenge to photograph. I now use a Canon 7D MkII, a 5DMk3 and a 100-400L Mk2 zoom, a 100mm 2.8 macro lens and a canon 1.4 II multiplier. Occasionally I lug a Canon 500mm Mkll prime lens around. I have been privileged to see some wonderful wildlife and beautiful landscapes over the years and I hope you enjoy the photos.
