Hi, my interest is in Wildlife/Nature photography but I have only been taking photos seriously for about 3 years...I am a member of Carlisle Camera Club and they have been very encouraging and helpful. I have just attained my AFIAP distinction which has surprised me no end....!!! I enter competitions in order to learn but to be honest, if I am happy with my images then that is all important. I work full time for the NHS and it's difficult to get out with the camera but I always have it on me in the hope of seeing something! I do little processing as prefer to try and get the results I want "in camera". Also, I have little knowledge or time really for processing to be honest, but do realise the importance of it and it is becoming as much a part of the skill of photography as anything....I love wildlife, and so happy when I can capture the soul, personality of the animal or bird...
