I am an Edinburgh based photographer whose commercial work consists predominantly of portraiture, events and music photography. As well as working commercially I am teacher of photography, an exhibited photographic artist and a published writer on the subject. My personal work focuses, predominantly, on landscape and walking, often incorporating text to compliment and enhance the images. Through the process of walking, photographing, research and gathering stories of lived experiences – both my own and others – my work is an exploration into our place in the world and the landscape we inhabit both physically and emotionally.
