I have been birding since 1980. My nature photography originated from this birding experience. Photos prior to May 2017 were taken with a Panasonic point and shoot superzoom camera. In May 2017 I began using the Sony RX10iii 'bridge' camera with a built-in 600mm zoom lens (35mm equivalent) and an image sensor that gives excellent results for my needs. My birding has taken me to many U.S. hotspot locations, to U.S. National Parks and to the American tropics. Over time I hope to populate this site with some past efforts and work on new photo opportunities.
