The mission of Meals On Wheels Delaware is to raise private funds for allocation to member agencies with meal delivery programs. By providing both financial and human resources, we will ensure uninterrupted delivery of meals to senior Delawareans in the comfort of their homes.

Meals On Wheels Delaware is a nonprofit 501c3 organization working with five meal-providing agencies and thousands of volunteers from corporations, civic, religious and community groups. Together, the program provides and delivers meals every day to over 4,300 homebound seniors. In fact, last year over 700,000 meals were served throughout the state. Meals On Wheels Delaware joins the partnership by providing additional financial and volunteer resources to the agency providers to ensure that no senior in Delaware is on a waiting list for a hot meal delivered to their home.

Since 1996, Meals On Wheels Delaware events have raised more than $5 million for home-delivered meals programs in Delaware. Last year, thousands of volunteers across the State of Delaware delivered over 700,000 hot, nutritious meals - and as many warm smiles - to over 4,300 homebound seniors.
