I am a hobby photographer. I use a Sony A7iii and an Olympus OM-D M10 Mark iii. I do own a number of modern lenses but my favorite are the lenses created between 1950 and 1980. These lenses from former East Germany (DDR) or from the Soviet Union carry characteristics that are not seen in modern lenses. From swirling bokeh to subject pop-out is what I am typically after. Most of my subjects are in nature, at least which are shared here and are photographed on prime lenses from 35 to 58mm. Today, my favorite lens is the Meyer Optik Primoplan 58mm f1.9.
