Have been making photographs including published, contract and exhibited work, most of my life. Got away from it somewhat after getting into public radio journalism. After a decade of that (involuntarily) ended in 1999, came some hard... other decades. Joined flickr in 2018 mainly due to enjoying colleagues found there... only just started posting my own work in 2022.

Generally speaking, I'm an OG nerd.

Have invested a great deal of thought, soul and work in the cultures, issues, and je ne sais quoi of New Mexico and the Southwest (here's hoping locals forgive me for the outrageous turn of French).

The relative economy of being able to work digitally is a huge boost for me... though I do long to be able to scan-in some of my back film catalog one day. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the Recent. Due to my lifetime of writing in one context or another, I often include textual background with images. —Kinduv can't help it.
