As much as I still enjoy learning about photography, I sadly find myself travelling more and more without my camera. This is down to many things, which include the extra weight in my backpack for the camera and lenses, and knowing I spend much less time online nowadays to process and unload any of the pictures. There are still occasions where I will take the camera but it’s likely to be short treks or trips where the extra weight isn’t going to be an issue. Even with those, the pictures rarely get beyond being uploaded to my computer, let alone online. This is probably a good thing given I would quickly hit the image limit for this account.

Although my pictures don’t portray it, my main passion and choice of adventure in life has always been exploring mountain regions, hence the weight limit. For me, the more remote the trek, the more I tend to enjoy the experience. As it stands, I still have a few notable mountains in Europe which need visiting before I start venturing further afield. For the time being I’m happy to continue travelling to these location from my current home in England, although relocating closer to a mountainous region outside of the UK does make more and more sense.

Knowing there is a image limit for my type of profile here on Flickr, it's a limit I'll soon be close to reaching. When this limit is reached I’m likely to cease uploading anything new rather than deleting older ones like some users do.
