My name is Georgia Minks and I am a sophomore at Rutgers University. I live on cook campus in the Newels with my two best friends and service dog, Miley. I am a pre vet major, so I love animals. I enjoy the outdoors and I am a huge nature person. One of my favorite things to shoot is sunsets or other landscapes. My dad has always told me I have a great eye, so for my 18th birthday he bought me a nice camera to start learning on. I have always been interested in art and photography. I also play volleyball as a middle hitter and I plan to play for Rutgers, I am very excited for this class and to learn all about shooting manual and photo editing (editing is my favorite part). I have a Nikon D5500 and I have only had it for almost one year. As a photographer, i want to be able to gain knowledge about my camera and know exactly what settings I should be shooting in. I am not familiar in the photoshop process at all but I do love editing. I usually use snapseed or vsco to edit my photos. I am very unexperienced however I did get two photography jobs over the summer for different families.
