A trainspotter from the days of steam, a box camera as my companion, black & white the order of the day, with developing and printing done at home! The thrill of seeing the image appear in the developing tray - it was all magic!

Work has taken me from northern England to London, Switzerland and eventually to Australia via New Zealand. My love of steam locomotives dwindled during the Beeching Era, other interests and travel took over. Retirement now allows me the pleasure of re-discovering my dormant hobby and finding new ones!
