Al Galbraith was born in Kentucky but at the age of seven persuaded his parents to move to Florida, where he grew up (more or less) in Tarpon Springs and Clearwater. After undergraduate school and law school at Florida State University, interrupted by two years in the Army, he became a municipal attorney. Photography is a hobby, and so are genealogy, history, bicycle riding and Scuba diving. The latter two are on hold while he recovers from a treatable (thank God) form of lymphoma.

His latest photos are of family, including kids and grandkids, but now and then he likes to shoot old cars, old airplanes, and what's left of old Florida. Old family photos, scanned, are another favorite subject.
