It is always fun to be outdoors, walking or cycling. As I live in one of the most crowded parts of The Netherlands nature is sometimes hard to find. But there are still beautiful places in the surroundings. I like to photograph the landscape there and sometimes to manipulate the results in Photoshop. Hope you like it too.

Of course most of my images are photoshopped. Alas, I can’t paint or draw a decent line. I use the free NIK Collection, mostly Duplex and Polaroid Transfer from the Color Efex Pro set. When I started photoshopping not so long ago I downloaded many textures from the internet. Stupidly enough I did not always note the artist who created the textures, so I can not give them their well-earned credits. But I do use the OilPainting textures from Shadowhouse Creations a lot. He has some nice tutorials too. For interesting clouds I often use a texture called 40789495912_d4a183f66e_o. In fact I couldn't do without it anymore. So thank you very very much unknown artist (Google can't find it too). Sometimes (but not so often) I use Dynamic Autopainter Pro or FotoSketcher. In Photoshop the Oil painting and the Graphic Novel filters are nice too. On YouTube I watch many Photoshop tutorials. Some of my favorites there are Dansky, PHLEARN and PiXimperfect.
