Born in Barrie, Ontario (Canada), grew up in Calgary, Alberta (ride 'em cowboy!)—still consider myself a Westerner. In time I moved back to Ontario as an adult and graduated with a M.Sc. Degree (Biology) from the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario. Now living in Troy, NH with my wife Susan, several cats and our Cocker Spaniel, Sarah. Anything and everything attracts my interest and I show no shame in photographing what I want—including dead things (I was employed for a few years as an embalmer—best job I have ever had, wish I could get back into Funeral Service down here). All my equipment is now officially "antique" but we simply can not afford to upgrade so I make do with what I have—a Sony Alpha 58 body, Sony 18-55, Minolta 28-80, 75-300, 35-105, 24-50, Sigma 28-70, Sigma 10-20, and for really reaching out and touching someone, a Minolta 500mm reflex—all of which was purchased decades ago as used equipment. You will most likely never see the vast majority of my work as it was done on Kodachrome years ago and I have not found (or even really "looked" for) a way to translate a Kodachrome to digital and have it turn out well. Too bad because those Kodachrome's hold hundreds of images from when I could afford to travel—Israel, Rome, Jamaica, Trinidad....

Thanks for viewing my photos!
