Hi, my name is Kate and I call Barnesmore Co. Donegal home. I try to capture local scenes that represent the natural raw beauty of County Donegal and its rugged coastline. I met my husband John in 1994, who owned Biddys O'Barnes Public House, and together we developed and ran the pub in Barnesmore Gap, County Donegal, Ireland. John passed away suddenly in 2014. It was then that photography and its invitation to explore the natural raw beauty around me helped clear the head and mend the heart a little bit. These photographs are something John always wanted me to do. So, our journey together continues through them.
