Hello, this is the photo page for my Second Life and Open Sim photography. I have more than one avatar I use for photos, and this page, I hope, will be a visual compilation of their adventures. Ginger Cookee and Liza Cancan will both appear here. Nice to meet you all. Sometimes, there will be little stories in the descriptions. I am not a professional photographer, but I am a visual artist and maker (among other things) in my Real Life (RL, as the virtual world says).

I am eternally captivated by all the beauty in the virtual worlds and how I can capture my environment. For me, the photos are more about the context, the composition comes in the moment. I can plan an entire photo shoot around good hair. Other times, I'm dressed up for an event, and inspiration is readily available. The times are rare when I "set up" a shoot. Adventuring is part of the process. If you see me out and about, getting up, moving a bit, turning around, I'm taking a picture, most likely.

I try my best to record what I'm wearing, filters I may have used during the photo process, what windlight I used, things like that. However, I'm doing this for fun, so that information may vary, and the things I'm wearing may be old. I've been in Second Life for over nine years as of the time of this writing (September 2023), and I have just started to explore the Open Sim grids. I do little to no post-editing of the images here, because that's not what the page is about. I work within the frame sizes of my viewer. I use Firestorm Viewer and the Viewer's photography tools.
