A little about me: Born in St. Paul, raised in Minneapolis, I would say creativity runs in my family. My grandfather was an avid painter, and my father is a skilled wood worker, craftsman and self-proclaimed "dumpster diver". In his spare time, dad made furniture, wood sculptures, and dabbled in abstract industrial metal artwork. Growing up in his workshop and dragging me to every surplus store in the Twin Cities, I was exposed to all sorts of tools, mechanical gizmos and the inner workings of machinery. It wasn't until a few years ago I began to apply this love of misfit do-dads into sculpture. But is this really art though? Like most modest Minnesotans, I won't tell you what to think. I leave that up to you.
Thanks for looking!
