Olivia Laxdal is a student from Prince George, British Columbia working towards completing her first year of photography. Since the age of 5, Olivia has loved all mediums of art, including drawing, painting, ceramics, culinary arts, and photography. Growing up on Ness lake for the majority of her life has allowed Olivia to be around nature all the time, which really allowed her to develop her style of nature macro photography. She tries to take pictures of things that people often overlook, to find beauty in strange places, such as a simple broken chain. Her goal is to inspire those who see her work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places.
