Working at home as the Homeschool teacher of 3 boys for 18 years has wrought in me the determined desire to educate and elevate my fellow human beings with respect and diplomacy.

A Los Angeles native, I attended Alese Marshalls school of personal development and professional modeling after taking the GED exam in 1987. I began a career as a professional makeup artist at 18 years old with continuing education at the Los Angeles Conservatory of Esthetics and The MUA school in Orange County California. I continued my education at Mc Neese University in Lake Charles Louisiana where I studied Fine Arts. Iam a proficient MAC and Windows user.

Twenty years affiliation with the Los Angeles fashion and cosmetic industries. Extensive background in film, television, stage, and photography makeup. Assistant to La’s Top makeup artists Carol Brown and Debra Tate. Key Makeup Artist for all infomercials from 1887 to 1999 District Manager for Christian Dior Make up Division over a 5-store territory in Los Angeles, Resident Makeup Artist at Dubunne Day Spa, Torrance Cailfornia. After moving to NO in 2007, I did 3 covers for NOW New Orleans Weddings magazine and to date, after homeschooling my 3 children, I run my own freelance MU business. In which I apply make up on location for weddings, mostly. Skilled in all aspects of makeup application with an emphasis on special effects for film. Presently working in my own business, conducting training seminars for groups and individuals, topics include platform specific make up application and intro to airbrush design and proper creation and administration of prosthetics. My particular brand of persistence, positivity and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills make me an asset to your organization.
