In the early 90s I was fortunate to have a friend doing an MFA in photography in a town near me. She was kind enough to show me the ropes and develop my negs. With time I taught myself how to work with the camera and develop in the darkroom without guidance. Over the years I have explored shapes, shadows, and reflections in myriad street settings and private venues. I have also done series on contemplative spaces, the meaning of solstice, and deep engagement. I am a natural light photographer that still uses film and old cameras to show the soul of what I see.
