Mainly interested in Fine Art Black&White photography. I have been involved with photography for a long time. I have had many photography shows. I use from 35mm to 4x5 cameras. I have a child adopted from Russia. Alec is 16 years old. in 2015.

I plan to make time to do some Black & White printing this year, going through negs right now. Live in Dublin, CA. I have been to hundreds of gallery openings and shows and have a very large collection of books, I have studied with many great master photographers and because of this, I feel I am good at critiques, so email me if interested.

When I go out to photograph, I always have something in mind to shoot (usually something I have been watching for a long time). There have been times I have waited a couple of years to photograph something I had my eye on. I rarely go out looking for photos, doesn't usually work for me. The images in Black & White are so much better to see in person. Black & White on computer screens show either too much contrast and tonal value or they don't.
