Born in (and frequently returning to) southern California, I've been to nearly every corner of the US.

With a bit of a fuzzy memory, carrying a camera has been a habit of mine for many years.

While in high school, living in Ohio at the time, I was lucky enough to participate in the last year that the school had a film lab. That's when the habit started to become something more. Always a fan of physics, learning to bend light to one's will (or bending to it's will) has been one of, if not the most enjoyable experiences of my life. Taking me to, and putting me in many situations it would be hard to imagine without.

Weather it's climbing a mountain, or setting up a simple table top shoot. Without a camera, I am not complete.
