In 1003 AD, on a cold winter night Casje is born as a daughter of hard working farmers. Growing up loved by her family she already dreams of going on adventures and becoming a shield maiden (warrior)

Years go by but on one fatal night things go southway, during an attack on the farm going wrong, she gets wounded and has to see how her parents get murdered and her home burned to the ground. Fueled by rage from the loss she wants revenge. She vowed on the graves of her parents and sisters now looking down from Valhalla that she will become a viking warrior. She saddles her horse and rides into the unknown...

Days later she meets a warrior. At first she is kind of scared of the strong man but after he told her he wouldn't hurt her they travel together and start bounding. He promisses her to take care of her and brings her to his family from the Ragnarok Clan. He teaches her to work hard and fight even harder with a sword and shield. Just as she wanted Casje becomes a raging warrior. And soon she can tell
