Born at New York city on 13 June 1944 (10:35 p.m. Eastern War Time), I've lived in various places both Occidental and Oriental. I've been here at Portland in Oregon for nearly five decades. My present companion, for these past 17 years, is Blue of the Felis catus people. In my glorious albeit low-income retirement I enjoy auditioning music, reading books, screening films and surfing the Web. I've smoked a (tobacco) pipe since the late 1950s and will continue to do so.
