Artist Statement:

Taylor Keba is a 16 year old student in Prince George, British Columbia. She started taking photos a little over 2 years ago, but didn't completely fall in love with it until 1 year ago. Growing up in a small town, and still living there currently there has always inspired Taylor to take more urban fashion or stylized portrait photos as a way to stand out from other residents. When the opportunity to travel is present Taylor tries her best to visit the new places and take photos that can help to represent the feelings she had when she was there. Traveling to newer, bigger cities is a way for Taylor to gather inspiration and see how other people put their work out into the world. Composition has always been something that Taylor thought was important, when taking portraits the way the photo looks with the background, colours, and positioning of the model will set you apart from a good portrait over an average one.
