Notice to my cat followers, I recently had a major computer crash that has all my large file of CATS that I was going to post in limbo, until I somehow get that comp repaired. I will continue to add CAT pics from my cameras that had not been uploaded to that comp, via my backup laptop, but be patient please, at it will take time.

PLEASE NOTE, Most of my personal pics are G rated, tho some R & ADULT pics may be posted eventually. HOWEVER most of my faves are NOT ADULT, but some may be, and if you are easily offended by ADULT photos, DO NOT GO to my faves!

Also, I rarely post or FAVE pics with people in them, and NEVER fave pics with children in them, due to the rise of child predators online, I urge you all to do the same, and also refrain from posting pics of your kids, as it is evident that more & more are being endangered that way.

You will also notice my faves of CATS (dont ALL cats deserve to be faved & shared?), trains, lighthouses, unusual cars, and the odd ship or boat, or place that I myself have visited or would like to visit. I try not to fave to many from an individual, but sometimes find it hard to restrain my fave finger! Sorry!

I came late to photgraphy, (I recently discovered my 1st photos ever, taken when I was 7 yrs old with a discarded Brownie I had forgotten about however, so my 1st were actually in '62) starting in '75 with a used camera from my bro-in-law that he didnt like. My cats were my learning models/subjects for my 1st 1000 pics or so, and then went outdoors for different subjects.

I have over 50K of print pics that I am trying to sort thru and digitize to add here, but it takes TIME. I am working on my own pics and will be adding many here as soon as I can.

I thank all of you that have allowed me to fave your pics ! AND, if you fave one of my pics featuring ME, please comment, and tell me why you faved, as it is a puzzle to me for sure! And it seems I have 1000's of followers now, so if I fave one of yours, many many people will get to see it, and maybe the rest of your photostream, which is why we post pics here, right?

Personal info: I am a thrice married twice divorced, once widowed straight male, old enough to know how very well, and still young enough to be able to prove that! I am a recent arrival to west central WI, in the city of clear water. but lived in the northland over 37 yrs previously. I have my own place, have a vehicle (3 actually, a everyday collector car, a camper van of collector age, and a trike motorcycle), am retired & partially disabled now, have no kids, no past wives within many many miles, no close family anymore (outlived them all), am a non-smoker, rare drinker, NEVER drugs ever. That does not make me boring however, my interests include swimming (have swam in all 5 Great Lakes as well as Lake Winnipeg, Great Slave Lake, Atlantic, Pacific Oceans as well as the Caribbean Sea & the Gulf, and to many more to mention) kayaking, canoeing, camping (wilderness as well as glamping), being in the outdoors when possible ( I once climbed mountains (my proudest accomplishment was climbing Mt St Elias in Alaska, solo) as well as rock climbing but that isnt possible any longer), being indoors whenever to cold to enjoy, photography, old cars & shows, boats (especially wooden boats), ships, trains (mainly historical or steam powered as well as trollys), history, museums, travel by car, train & ship. I rescue cats, have rescued dogs in the past also, but cant have them where I live. My permanent roomie was a 9 yr old rescued girl kitty (she passed on 0828/18 R.I.P.) & now I have 2 senior sister cats also rescued to share my home & life.

(update, I lost my oldest senior cat in Sept '19, her younger sister grieved for 2 months but is now accepting her life-long sister is gone R.I.P. Fuzzy)

I cook, I read books, I love many types of music, frequent outdoor concerts in our downtown park. I ride a tricycle motorcycle when the weather permits. I have visited 40+ states, 4 foreign countries, & a US territory. and counting.
