Hello, welcome to my page

My name is Willis of Capturing Nature _N_Wildlife.

A little about me!

I got my first camera at about the age of 11 years old from my parents, as a Christmas present, a little 35mm film camera with a flash cube, which if memory serves me correctly, had 4 flash cubes, then died.

My older brother borrowed said camera to take on his first holiday as an adult to Austria and consequently lost it, bringing me a rather large and thick pencil as a replacement which i still have some 40 years later. So that was myself and photography done but the seed was sown.

Now in my late teens I bought a Chinon 35mm fixed focal length camera and discovered what i now know as macro photography and landscape photography which I never liked any of the images? Jumping forward a lot of years to present day and i now shoot Fujifilm XT4.

So this entire idea is kind of like my photography journey including the good and bad but most important its for myself, if you like my work brilliant , if you don't that's also great because photography is subjective, and we can't all like the same thing now, can we?

All that said, i must say I have also had some turmoil's in my life, being on the Autism spectrum, a somewhat troubled childhood then diagnosed with PTSD from an employment position, it's been a journey. I find peace beauty and a purpose with my photography, I get out into nature, watch, relax and shoot to my hearts content, in the environment I am in, excited to see the results I go home take a look and print the best of my shoots.

I want to share my passion with you, the people looking at my page. I am now selling my prints, developing calendars and other exciting projects on the horizon. so keep following I will keep you up to date with my products and progression.

Thank you for reading, have a lovelyday, and enjoy the photographs- I do!
