Institute of Technology Carlow is a provider of third level education located in the South East of Ireland. It currently ranks as the fourth-largest of Ireland’s 14 Institutes of Technology offering undergraduate to postgraduate programmes from NFQ Level 6 up to NFQ PhD Level 10 with full and part-time options available. Established in 1970, Institute of Technology Carlow currently has 7,000 students and over 50,000 graduates. The research activities of the Institute focus around five core research groups inextricably linked to the Research and Commercialisation Support Centre.
